Mood: Not enough time to do it all.
20th December 2008
Windsurfing: Brog
Wind Direction: SW,,, SSW
Wind Stength: F3-5
Surf / Sea State: Small Chop
Air Temperature: 12.5C
Sea Temperature: 4.2C
Weather: 30% OC
Max Speed: 29.4mph (knots - unless stated otherwise)
Distance Covered: 17.2miles (Nautical Miles - unless stated otherwise)

Obviously I'd prefer more wind, and balmy conditions, who's complaining? 12.5C is fine for me.

I did a slalom session, really nice. Fell in 2 or 3 times in the hour and a half I had on the water. Gybes were fine, no rust to wash off. I think how you do has a lot to do with general fitness. OK my arms were a bit achy, not windsurfing in 6 weeks since Dahab. But with so much cycling I've been fine. I did 120 bike to work miles this week.

Colin was out popping a few on the chop. John Mich was gybing on his 78 board. Alex was on her new RRD FSW 95l board and seemed to be finding new stuff to do / discuss.

Annette was going fast too, as per usual.

Mike G was rigging when I came off, the wind was dropping. I went in for a shower, I could hear the wind had come back for a bit, but by the time I got home it looked like it had gone again.

Right now there is a red glow in the sky. Mid winter tonight I think. Days start lengthening again. Sunset tomorrow is a minute.
